Our mission is to provide our students with a quality education which will enable them to acquire a professional expertise incorporating the future needs of companies. This expertise, forming part of a socially responsible and internationally orientated entrepreneurial approach, must be such as to allow our students to operate efficiently in a competitive context and to act in the collective interest.
The quality of our tuition cannot be separated from a research activity geared to the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of management, entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is thus one of the key strategic axes in our mission which is to train high-quality socially responsible managers, and more generally to ensure that all our staff are aware of their responsibility in this respect.
This strategic axis breaks down as follows: the School’s CSR procedure, the CSR procedure as it concerns the students, and the development of the CSR Chair.
The School’s CSR procedure: the objective is a) to ensure that CSR is expressed in everyday behaviour (Operation “100 Days for a Green Campus”), b) to anchor the School more firmly in the Region (Agenda 21), c) to participate in solidarity initiatives (Banque Alimentaire/Food Bank), and d) to strengthen the School’s reputation in upstream and downstream markets and the academic world, at both national and international level (Greenpeace label).
The CSR procedure and students: the objective is to train highly efficient and socially responsible managers for tomorrow’s world by means of a) courses and lectures and the creation of CSR-oriented case studies, b) the introduction of “Education through Civic Action” in order to increase student awareness of CSR via practical actions and c) student associations concerned by CSR.
The development of the CSR Chair: here, the objective is to use research in order a) to heighten corporate awareness of this issue and to accompany businesses in their CSR initiatives, b) to train their managerial staff in CSR and c) to provide the School’s professors with the necessary framework for conducting research in this field, in particular through the publication of articles in scientific reviews.
